This Parabolic clock originated from a IAE V2500-5A SelectOne jet engine. It's purpose was to protect the engines bearings from the scorching heat and so was heavily worn from its service life.
The item is manufactured from Stainless Steel which aided in its durability and corrosion resistance during its life.
A new lease of life has been given to this bearing shield by polishing the front side to a mirror shine. Incorporation of a battery-operated clock mechanism has also been added.
There are some heavy usage marks and dents that have been removed as much as possible but some still are visible.
Wall mounting the clock can be done around the back lips edge and can be mounted at many angles. One example of this can be seen in the items pictures. Nil fixing hardware (screw/nail) is supplied.
