Presenting this run of 100 tags from Thomas Cook G-MDBD Airbus A330-243.
Laser engraving reveals the aluminium beneath. The tags are from the grey and white 'Thomas Cook' logo from the fuselage. The condition of the panel reflects heavy use and scratches are present from many flight hours.
These tags are part of Thomas Cook Airbus A330-243 G-MDBD MSN 266. This A330 started its life with Airtours in 1999 before becoming My Travel in 2003 and finally took the Thomas Cook scheme in 2008.
The aircraft was twice leased to Garuda Indonesia in 2001 and 2011. Sadly, the airframe was broken up at Manchester in February 2021. She now lives on as a collectable piece of aviation history.
Every tag is CNC machine cut and finished by hand to a high standard, measuring 72mm by 44mm (+-3mm machine accuracy).
